About
In 2015, I was managing the public equities program for a $22 billion private pension fund. I loved all the discussions about individual stocks, portfolio strategies, and the fact that saving a few basis points here-and-there quickly added millions to the bottom line. Unfortunately, I did not love a lof of decisions were driven by top-down politics moreso than sound investing. So after a decade in the multibillion-dollar institutional investment management world, I left to found Blue Harbinger.
Since inception, Blue Harbinger’s mission has been to help “the little guy” make more-informed investment decisions. Specifically, I share attractive investment opportunities and discipined portfolio strategies.
Blue Harbinger has opened a lot of doors for me (ranging from hedge fund consulting projects, to the registration of my own private investment office—which is currently open to referals only). It’s also taught me when to say “no,” so I can stay focused professionally on what matters most—learning from the markets and helping people make better investment decisions.
I hold an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Headquartered in beautiful Naperville, Illinois, USA (our crown jewel is the downtown riverwalk), if you are ever in the area—I am happy to meet with you (briefly) to discuss investments.
